This is about choice for all children and all parents and comes down to very straightforward economics. If you subsidise one form of childcare you eliminate all others. The current government has made a decision to subsidise crèche and other formal childcare arrangements to exclusion of the options chosen by the majority.
OUR AIMS:
- End tax penalties for stay-at-home parents
- Subsidies paid for childcare be paid equally to all
- Recognise a parent as a childcare provider
- All children have the right to a parent at home regardless of their family structure or income, if this suits their family.
